Holy Water is a cinematic response to that calling — using compelling characters, real temptation, consequences, redemption, and brotherhood to meet people where they already are, and point them toward Jesus.
This isn't a story that preaches. It's a story that reveals truth through characters worth following.
Young people spend more time than ever consuming stories on screens, yet many have never been shown that they can become the people behind those stories.
The outreach mission of Holy Water is to use film and television as a bridge — not only to share the hope of Jesus through powerful storytelling, but to create meaningful opportunities for young people to discover their own gifts, develop practical skills, and see new possibilities for their future.
As Holy Water grows, we envision inviting youth onto professional sets and into production environments where they can learn directly from filmmakers, actors, producers, cinematographers, editors, sound professionals, and other members of the creative community. Participants can be introduced to the real work that happens behind the camera — from storytelling and directing to lighting, sound, camera operation, editing, production design, and more — all within an environment rooted in faith, character, excellence, and purpose.
For some young people, it may be their first time standing on a professional set. Their first time meeting someone who makes a living creating films. Their first time realizing that the gifts God placed inside of them can become a craft, a career, and a way to impact others.
We want Holy Water Outreach to become a place where entertainment meets mentorship — creating workshops, set visits, hands-on learning opportunities, conversations about faith and purpose, and access to professionals who can help young people imagine a future beyond what they have previously seen.
And the outreach does not stop behind the camera. Through the series itself, we want to reach a generation where it is already looking. Many young people may never walk into a church, but they will watch a compelling story. Holy Water is designed to meet them there — with real characters, real struggles, and real hope, produced at the standard they expect from the best television.
